What counts as MCU?
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is currently compromised of Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, Marvel's the Avengers, Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Age of Ultron. Also existing in the realm of the MCU are the events of Agent Carter, Agents of SHIELD, and Daredevil.

My character isn't in the MCU
While set within the world the Marvel Cinematic Universe has set up, characters who have not been introduced within the MCU, or who are otherwise legally unavailable are welcome and encouraged to be played. Non-MCU characters must be adjusted accordingly to fit within the framework of the world they are entering.

My character is in another movie, but not MCU
Marvel properties filmed by other companies (Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, X-Men, Daredevil (the movie) are not considered canon within the game. You may chose to use the actors who portrayed them in these other films, or chose alternates. You may use the films as base to create your character if you wish, but they must fit within the current MCU history, meaning none of these characters have active, public personas upon starting the game.

The character I want isn't alive as of Age of Ultron
Depending on the character there may be way around this. This is a comic universe, death isn't always permanent. However not every character can plausibly be reasoned back to life, so these will be looked at on a case by case bases.

My character is in the MCU but I don't like the actor
For continuity's sake the mod requests all current MCU portrayals be accurate. This also means all current MCU cast are off limits as potential pbs to characters not currently in the MCU.

What is StarkNet?
StarkNet has its own FAQ, it's that special.

What are OTS, OTA, SA, and Closed?
Each entry in the main community should be marked with one of these. This allows other players to see who the thread is open to.

OTS is Open to Some, meaning certain characters may be able to jump in where others can't. For example, an OTS set in the New Avengers HQ would be open to New Avengers, but not open to the general public without contacting the players involved.

OTA is Open to All. This means anyone can join the thread so long as they have reasonable cause to be there. An OTA in the streets of Hells Kitchen probably won't feature Black Panther, but if he's in town, go for it!

SA is Stand Alone. This is for a single post not meant to continue into a thread, but to convey a plot point etc,. If you which to leave an SA post open to reaction (single comments reacting to the event in question, again not resulting in threads) please note!

Closed is for a thread with set members. The action will take place only between the players/characters listed, and is not open for others to join.

I still have questions
